Darryl Matthew Cobb is a descendant of Jefferia Cobb and Darryl Thomas, born and raised in East St. Louis. Growing up in East St. Louis, Darryl faced many obstacles which lead him to his success in Mixed Martial Arts.

He has been training in the Mixed Martial Arts under UFC veteran and World Champion Jermaine Andre'.  Darryl envisioned being a professional fighter as a child and finally brought his dreams to reality by stepping into the cage of Mixed Martial Arts.

He devastated his opponents on local shows, Fox Sports, BET’s MMA reality show “The Iron Ring” (where he was hand picked by Nelly to fight on his sponsored team) and more.  He has appeared on television with many celebrities such as Floyd Maywhether, Ludacris, Lil John, Dipset, Santana, & more.

Darryl Cobb is known, respected and feared for his punching, kicking and grappling abilities that have sent some of his opponents to the hospital.

He is also complimented with exceptional interview skills which have led him to repeated news and television interviews regarding controversial subjects brought up about MMA.

As a respectable and loving father, Darryl doesn’t reserve his MMA talent only for the sake of competition and proving his skill. He is also a certified professional bodyguard, defensive tactics instructor for police & security, a certified SAFETY instructor for youth, and a Head Instructor of Andre’s MMA Academy.

Darryl Cobb is pursuing his career in MMA by fighting professional all over the world.  Furthermore, he is supplementing his vocation by entering a journey in law enforcement.
